Devoted Heart

  What do you fear about? Losing your loved one? Losing your job? Losing something very valuable to you? Or do you fear about the situations around you, people around you or the challenges you are facing today? What do you fear? Fear is that one weapon that the Satan today is using all over the world to take control of people's lives. Sadly fear has taken hold of believers too. Though Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has given us so many promises to believe on in the Holy Bible we are still living a life of unbelief and fear. It is very disheartening to see people suffering with fear rather than the actual illness or condition. I would definitely not say I have never feared, I was living in fear and darkness but the Word of God enlightened my heart and encouraged me to overcome it and gave me eternal peace and light.  Having complete faith in the Lord is a very important aspect of a Christian. Living in fear will not benefit you anything rather you will only loose out on everything

  "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall"- Proverbs 16:18 Every person deals with pride in their lives, either pride within themselves or pride within people around them. The Word of God clearly says in Proverbs 11:2-"When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom". There are a lot of circumstances in life where you may feel that you have achieved a lot, you boast about your achievements, either at your workplace or in your education or in your family. You may have achieved a lot in this world, but when you forget that it is only by God's grace you have gained everything and start thinking that you are someone great and have done everything by yourself, there enters pride. Pride is a tool of satan to devour your spirit and to cause your downfall. Pride is a sin.
