Marriage made Heaven on Earth ❤️❤️❤️❤️

As the Word of God says "Marriage is honourable in all" in Hebrews 13:4, Marriage is the most sacred and holy commitment made by humans. The concept of Marriage was instituted by God himself in the Garden of Eden.

As we all know, nowadays, the importance of marriage is not being understood by people. The very concept of marriage is being violated and disrespected. Man thinks marriage as a hobby or an option which can be changed or broken as and when he wants. In today's generation, it is very difficult to see a happily married couple, even in believers, because they lack the Word of God and are unaware of the kingdom principles. 

"Marriage made Heaven on earth " might seem as a overrated sentence for some, however it is very much a reality if you are aware of the kingdom principles and the importance of the concept itself. Marriage is not just two people coming together physically, but more importantly two people coming together on spiritual grounds, building each other, helping each other grow in spirit & faith and bringing each other closer to God every single day of their lives. You can definitely make your marriage a success and an experience of heaven on earth if you medidate on the Word of God persistently and faithfully. Let us look at few versus from the Bible about love & marriage and how we can apply the same in our lives:

1. Ephesians 4:2,3 says "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient; bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace". In today's world we see couples who are competing to fight with each other. They want to win over arguments and prove each other wrong. There is no peace in families due to this very reason. However according to this verse from the Bible, we must understand the importance of keeping up the unity of spirit that will automatically allow peace in your homes. For that purpose we need to be humble, gentle and patient with each other on every occasion.
2. Ecclesiastes 4:9,10 says "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up". The word of God says that two are better than one, because if one falls the other will pick them up. However we often see marriages failing because even when a small mistake is committed by one of the partner, the other one is instantly ready for accusation and condemnation. It is very important to understand the significance of forgiveness and also to know that you were united to stand strong together and do mighty works for the kingdom. If you understand this principle, life becomes easier and happier. 
3. Ephesians 5:22,25 says "Wives submit yourselves to your own husband as you do to the Lord. Husbands love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her." This verse is often misunderstood by the modern women of this generation who are fighting for equality and rights. There is no reason to feel inferior or superior to your partner. The foundation of marriage is love and thus the word of God says that you must submit to your husband always in love and be obedient and kind to him. However it must not be mistaken by husbands to obligate the wife to only listen to their commands. Husbands must love their wives how Christ loved the church. Love of Christ is the purest and highest level of love. So we must understand the love a husband must have for his wife. It is very important for both the husband and wife to listen to each other, understand each other and spend time together with God. It is very important to read and meditate on the word every day so that the Holy spirit will give you the wisdom and revelation to understand the word of God in a right manner. 

There is a lot more that the word of God has to offer you to lead a happy and wonderful married life. Marriage can be a heavenly experience if you follow the word of God and if you have the right teachings in your life. Always remember that Jesus loves you and he has given you a life partner as a help meet for you. Marriage always works two sided. Effort and empathy is required from both the partners. Love, understanding, patience, kindness, forgiveness and peace are all pillars which hold your marriage strong together. I pray that you may love your partners with Agape love which does not have any conditions or limitations. And I'm sure that if you live according to the word of God instead of the world that you see around you, then definitely your marriage will be heaven on earth and you will be the happiest couple!
