Gratitude

"I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness ; I will sing praises of the name of the Lord Most High"
-(Psalms 7:17)

A true Christian is defined by his attitude of thanksgiving both when he is in merry and in times of troubles. It is important to give thanks to the Lord in all situations. Apostle Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - "In everything give thanks ; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you".

As a believer we may have many ups and downs in life, many trials and tribulations, but in all those circumstances if you keep thanking God and praising him, he will bless you with the grace to overcome all those situations. He will give you the amazing power to overcome!

But in times of distress do not thank God thinking he is going to bless you and expecting he will make everything alright like the way you want it to be. But everyday pray for his will, and then no matter what happens, be sure of the truth that you are in His will, then whatever the circumstances you are in, you will be able to heartfully thank God.

Keep thanking God continually in the toughest of times without any expectations in return and he will incredibly bless you and will show his wondrous works in your life!

"And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shall hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God" -(Deuteronomy 28:2) There are countless blessings that our Lord has showered upon our lives. We are blessed because we are alive today, we are blessed because we have a lovely family, we are blessed for the good jobs we have, we are blessed for the food we have to eat, we are blessed because we have a shelter above our heads, and even if we have none of the above we are blessed because we are called to be his children and have been chosen and seperated to be a holy nation unto him. We can never ever thank him enough for all the blessings! When we have obedience towards his voice and the courage to walk in his will all our difficulties and hardships will be turned into blessings.
